Facts About Ephesians

facts-about-ephesians

Also known as the “Epistle to the Ephesians,” it is one of the “prison epistles” which the apostle Paul wrote (around 60-62 A.D.) during his first imprisonment in Rome.

Paul wrote that salvation can be attained by the grace of God and that it is through faith alone — not by any other way, not even by good works. Such doctrine of salvation is also echoed in the Book of Romans and the Book of Galatians. Paul also urged the believers to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling.” Which means that every believer should have the discipline they needed in order to grow into true “imitators of God.” Finally, Paul gave instructions on how to prepare believers for a spiritual battle, exhorting them to “put on the full armor of God” to protect themselves from the evil ways.
