The Epistle to Titus was written by the Apostle Paul around 66 A.D. As Paul had left Titus (now St. Titus) on the island of Crete after finishing his missionary journey, the apostle wrote this epistle to him as a guide to leading the churches there. Paul gave Titus the directions regarding the qualifications to look for in elders and bishops, and also warned him about the rebellious and deceitful people living oin the island.
