One of the greatest Biblical-related archaeological finds is the Dead Sea Scrolls, discovered between the mid-1940s and mid-1950s. First found by Bedouin shepherds, the scrolls then were studied then history scholars. The scrolls were found out to have the oldest existing biblical manuscripts — including fragments of each book of the Old Testament for the exception of the Book of Esther.
