Clive Staples (C.S.) Lewis was a British poet, novelist, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian, broadcaster, lecturer, and Christian apologist. And, of course, he was the author of the well-known books The Chronicles of Narnia and Mere Christianity.
